Join us for our 11-week 1/2 marathon training program, Coached by Sarah Seads of Wild Seads Coaching, beginning January 8th, 2026! The program includes:A detailed, 11-week, day-by day professional 21.1km half-marathon training plan created by Kinesiologist & Endurance Running Coach Sarah Seads for all abilities.Digital comprehensive Wild Seads Coaching Running Manual, beneficial to all runners for all race distances.In-person Coaching includes guest speakers and Head Coaching with Coach Sarah Seads on Thursday nights 5:30-7:15 pmCeile + Foveō Tech Running hat The resources provided includes:Detailed weekly running schedule (3-5 runs per week including pacing, zone training, hills, speed, base and aerobic endurance training!)Running specific efficiency, agility, speed and mobility training exercisesWeekly In-Person Coaching Discussions, Q&A and individualized Coaching support during Workouts on clinic nights.Volunteer clinic run leader supportRace planning and more!Training Plan Format:All Clinic participants will receive the 21.1KM half-marathon Training Plan in two formats:Training Peaks Platform Detailed Audio, Video and Text based Digital Training Plan from Wild Seads Coaching! (Just sign up for your FREE Training Peaks account to get started and Coach Sarah will email you a link to load it up)Coach Sarah's Basic PDF Training Plan Version - This version is available as a basic document to print and stick on your fridge! It includes workouts and key descriptions however, it does not include additional resources included in the Training Peaks Plan.Your plan will be tailored to your ability:Novice
This program is designed for individuals who can run/walk 8kms using a 10:1 schedule (10 minute run, 1 minute walk). Your goal is to complete the entire 1/2 marathon distance without a specific goal time and enjoy it!Intermediate
This plan begins at 10kms and is designed for individuals who have completed the half marathon distance in the past, or close to it, and who are ready to improve their fitness and performance on race day! Advanced
The Advanced Training Plan is a higher volume variation of the Intermediate plan for Experienced Runners who are looking for even more of a challenge. This plan is designed for individuals who can currently complete the 21.1km distance at the start of the Clinic, have a higher mileage and are looking to increase the difficulty of the Intermediate Plan.Structure/ScheduleThursday night Training Sessions are done together as a group (HILLS & SPEED-WORK) however, the rest of your weekly workouts will be completed on your own.Necessary Clinic Gear:Headlamp/LightSense of adventure! Winter running is always an adventure:)High-vis running gear for all conditions! Rain gear, rain hat/toque, gloves - as we run in all conditions.Optional Gear: Fitness watch capable of training heart rate, GPS, or phone app to track your workouts. These are not required, but will enhance your training. Refunds/Cancellations:If you cannot make the coached sessions, you will still receive the full training program and all of the resources to help you achieve your goals for the 1/2 Marathon distance and future races. The learnings from this clinic will be applicable to everyday running as well as races. With 1 month's notice, we can offer a full refund less transaction costs if you cannot participate for any reason. Email [email protected] to request. A little bit about Coach Sarah!SARAH SEADS is a Practicing Kinesiologist who graduated from the University of Victoria’s faculty of Education. Sarah hold an Arts degree in Kinesiology, which means she had a chance to study both the art and science of Human Movement at UVic. Studying sports psychology and sociology as significant parts of her undergrad and continuing her professional education in the field of MindBody health is a passion for Coach Sarah. In addition Sarah is a Practicing Clinical Hypnotherapist and a Pranayama & Meditation Registered Yoga Teacher from the School of Blissology.In addition to dedicating 25 years of her career to Sport, Health and Life Coaching, Sarah is an accomplished ultra-endurance, running and adventure racing athlete herself, competing successfully in both Canadian and international running events. Some of Sarah's running highlights include FKT's on the Golden Hinde, 2 - 100 mile races (including Western States), 6+ 100-125km ultras (including multiple Top finishes) and countless adventures around the world!In addition to endurance racing, Sarah is a passionate Mind-Body Wellness and Mental Training for Performance advocate and she specializes in Coaching Athletes to create a Mind-Body Connection so they may achieve their own personalized goals! She has Coached Athletes in their sports, specifically Endurance Racing and running events of all distances all over the world since beginner her Global business in 2000(Equilibrium Lifestyle Management - now Wild Seads Coaching).
