Come one and all to the 10th Annual Dad & Daughter 5K in North Kansas City! Everyone is welcomed to participate. This event is a fun, friendly family event for all runners and walkers. Strollers, baby joggers, wagons, wheelchairs and well-behaved dogs, are permitted.
We encourage Dad and Daughter duos, Grandfathers, Stepdads, Uncles, Brothers and entire families. Daughters are encouraged to walk/run in honor or memory of their dads.
*PACKET PICK-UPS! T-SHOTZ ON 9/19, THURSDAY, FROM 4-7PM. ADDRESS IS 660 NW METRO N DR, KANSAS CITY, MO 64155. CHICKEN N PICKLE ON 9/20, FRIDAY, FROM 4-6PM. ADDRESS IS 5901 W. 135TH ST, OVERLAND PARK, KS 66223. (TIME CHANGED TO 4-6)
*WE WILL ALSO HAVE PACKET PICK UP THE MORNING OF THE RACE UNTIL 8:00 AM
This event will be filled with fun festivities for the children such as craft making, face painting, hula hoop contest, a Zumba warm-up and fun photos that can be downloaded for free. Great food and a memorable medal for everyone that crosses the finish line. DICK'S Sporting Goods $50 gift certificates will be awarded to overall top male and female winner. Also, first place winners in male/female age groups will receive $20 gift certificates, and second, third place winners will receive $10 gift certificates! So, come embrace the day and let's celebrate together the importance of Dads and Families!
AGE DIVISIONS: 8 AND UNDER, 9-12, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 AND OLDER.
This year a portion of the proceeds will benefit Phoenix Family. An amazing organization that provides housing and services to meet the needs of children, families and the elderly!
*The early bird special for older youth from 11 years old to adults will be $25 until May 20th with price increases after that. YOUTH 10 AND YOUNGER WILL BE $22 WITH NO PRICE INCREASES.
SIGN UP AFTER 9/15 WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED A T-SHIRT. HOWEVER, WE HAVE SOME LEFT FROM A COUPLE YEARS AGO THAT YOU CAN SELECT FROM.
