Join us for the 10th Annual Race for the Butterflies on Saturday, September 13, 2025, at the beautiful Haynesville City Park in Claiborne, Louisiana! This exciting event promises a day filled with fun and friendly competition, featuring a 1-2 mile Fun Run that welcomes runners of all ages. Participants can look forward to a rolling schedule of races, starting with the youngest runners at 8:00 AM, including K-2 and 3rd to 4th-grade divisions for both boys and girls.
The atmosphere will be vibrant with camaraderie as competitors race for medals and certificates awarded to the top three finishers in each division. Registration opens at 7:15 AM, so arrive early to check in and get ready for an unforgettable day of racing in support of a great cause. Meet will begin and end at the Haynesville City Park. Registration table will be under the pavilion beside the pool.
Schedule: Rolling Schedule After First Race
Registration/Check in: Under Pavilion
Runners/Teams may begin arriving at 7:15 am to check in - receive bibs, maps, etc.
1-mile Races: Girls and Boys will run together if needed, but will be timed separately.
K-2 Girls 8:00
K-2 Boys
3rd and 4th Girls
3rd and 4th Boys
5-8 Girls
5-8 Boys
9-12 Girls
9-12 Boys
Awards Ceremony following the last race- At the pavilion
Awards:
(Medals and Certificates will be given to the (Top 3 Runners in each Division)
K-2, and 3-4 will hand out medals to top 3 girls and top 3 boys in each division
Fees: ALL FEES WILL BE PAID IN CASH or CHECK ON RACE DAY
