Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 12th Annual Chocolate Run 5K, taking place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, in the charming city of Statesboro, Bulloch! This delightful event kicks off at the GSU RAC Pavilion, with the Fun Run starting at 8 a.m. and the 5K race following at 8:30 a.m. Participants will enjoy a scenic route through the beautiful campus of Georgia Southern University while raising money and awareness for the Open Hearts Community Mission.
Join in on the fun and indulge your sweet tooth, as all runners will be rewarded with delicious treats, a race T-shirt, and a finisher medal. For those who prefer to run at their own pace, a virtual 5K option is also available, allowing you to participate anytime and anywhere. Don’t miss your chance to compete for awards in various categories, including Overall Male, Female, and Masters, as well as age group awards. Early packet pick-up is available the day before the race, so mark your calendars and get ready for a sweet experience at the Chocolate Run!

AS A REWARD FOR YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE RACE TO RAISE MONEY AND AWARENESS FOR THE OPEN HEARTS COMMUNITY MISSION, WE WILL INDULGE YOU WITH SOME SWEET TREATS, OUR RACE T-SHIRT AND FINISHER MEDAL. WE ARE ALSO OFFERING A VIRTUAL 5K FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO PARTICIPATE ANYTIME, ANYWHERE.

Virtual runners will not be timed.
