This exciting Thanksgiving tradition features a USATF certified 5K race and a fun 1-mile run/walk, perfect for participants of all ages. Kick off your holiday festivities with us at 8:30 AM for the 1-mile event and 9:00 AM for the 5K, as we wind through charming Troy neighborhoods. The race begins at the parking lot in front of 3290 W. Big Beaver Road, ensuring an invigorating start to your Thanksgiving Day.
Not only will you enjoy a lively atmosphere with T-shirts and awesome awards for all participants, but you'll also be contributing to a great cause! Since 2015, the Mighty Gobbler has raised over $120,000 and collected thousands of canned goods for local charities. This year's proceeds will benefit Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers and Micah 6 Community. Don’t forget to bring canned goods for the raffle – each can gives you a chance to win fantastic prizes! The Mighty Gobbler is a Thanksgiving tradition! A 5k race and 1 mile fun run/walk through a quiet Troy neighborhood. Hosted by Lutheran Church of the Master [https://lutheranchurchtroy.org/], this is the only USATF certified 5K course in Michigan on Thanksgiving Day, and a great way to start your holiday before the big feast! TSHIRTS and AWESOME AWARDS for all participants!!
TIME:
Thanksgiving morning, November 26, starting at 8:30 am for the 1 Mile fun run/walk and 9:00 am for the 5K.
LOCATION:
The race will begin in the parking lot in front of 3290 W. Register online until Tuesday, November 24 at midnight. Register in person at packet pickup on Wednesday and Thursday. If at all possible, plan to register before Thursday to avoid long lines!
