Join us for the 13th Annual Watermelon Run for the Fallen on Saturday, August 19, 2023, in beautiful Hempstead, Waller, Texas. This uplifting 5K Run, Walk, or Roll is a heartfelt tribute to honor and remember Texas military service members who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Participants are encouraged to walk, run, or roll the 5K distance in memory of a fallen hero, fostering community spirit and remembrance.
For just $30, registered participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, and all proceeds will benefit scholarships in the names of these brave military members, as well as support the high schools they attended. Join us in celebrating the life of SSG Jeffery Lee Hartley and make a difference while enjoying a day of camaraderie and remembrance. We can't wait to see you there!

This event is the 13TH ANNUAL WATERMELON RUN FOR THE FALLEN 5K RUN, WALK, ROLL in Hempstead, Texas. This run is to REMEMBER and HONOR each Texas military service member who gave his or her life serving our country in Iraq and Afghanistan, participants are asked to walk/run/roll a 5K in memory of a fallen service member. T-shirts will be provided to registered individuals. The cost of the 5K is $30. All profits generated from the event , after expenses, will go toward scholarships in the name of fallen military members and to the high school the fallen member attended.
We host the Watermelon Run For The Fallen event in loving memory of SSG Jeffery Lee Hartley, come Run Walk or Roll with us in his memory. We would love to see you there!
