Join the fun at the 18th Annual Gobbler Gallop Trail Run/Walk on Thanksgiving morning, November 26, 2026, in beautiful Saginaw! This beloved community event has become a cherished family tradition in the Saginaw Valley Area, featuring a picturesque 5K course that winds through stunning wooded trails along the scenic Tittabawassee River. Young runners can also participate in the exciting 1-mile youth run, perfect for kids in grades K-8.
Registration is available online at affordable rates, starting at just $5 until October 31, and goes up to $20 for race day registrations. Each participant can add a stylish long-sleeve moisture-wicking race shirt for an additional $10, but don’t wait too long, as shirts are not guaranteed after November 1! The race kicks off with the youth run at 9:00 AM, followed by the 5K trail run and walk at 9:20 AM. While there are no age group awards, the top five finishers in each category will receive custom finisher medals, and winners will take home delicious pumpkin or apple pies! A fun Thanksgiving morning race that has become a family tradition for families in the Saginaw Valley Area. The 5k course is a single loop on a beautiful, wooded trail along the scenic Tittabawassee River. The 1m Youth Run is a Single loop in the back of the park.

$10 per participant 11/1 through 11/21
$20 per participant 11/22 through 11/25
Race day registration will take place from 8:00 - 9:00 am at the pavilion at the back of the park and cost $20 per participant.
Race shirts can be added on to each registration for an extra $10 charge. Shirts will not be guaranteed after 11/1. Once again, this year the shirts will be a long sleeve moisture wicking shirt.

No frills, no age group awards, but an accurately measured course, a timed race with results and custom finisher medals to the top 5 finishers per gender in each race. In addition, the individual male and female winners of the 5k Run, 5k Walk and 1 Mile Run will each receive either a pumpkin or apple pie.
Come dressed in Thanksgiving costume for extra fun... rumor has it there will be at least one big turkey!
ALL proceeds benefit the Hawks Running Club LLC, support the youth running movement in the Saginaw Township Area!
