Get ready for an inspiring day of community and awareness at the Third Annual 2.2 for 22q event on Sunday, July 13th, 2025, in Massillon, Stark! This engaging awareness walk focuses on the 22q11.2 deletion syndrome, and it promises to be a memorable occasion as participants come together to raise funds and support research. The event kicks off at 9 AM with registration at the Jackson North Park pavilion, followed by the walk starting at 10 AM. Participants will traverse the scenic track of 1.1 miles, completing two laps for a total of 2.2 miles.
Join us for a fantastic day filled with camaraderie, purpose, and fun, as we aim to surpass last year's fundraising total of $5,600. Regardless of your walking ability, everyone is welcome to join in the spirit of support and awareness. After the walk, stick around for a provided lunch and exciting raffle giveaways, where each participant receives a free ticket! Additional tickets can be purchased or earned through donations to Akron Children's Hospital or the my22qt foundation. Let’s unite to make a difference and continue spreading awareness for this important cause!

Join us for our 3rd annual 22q11.2 deletion syndrome awareness walk!
Our first year we raised $3,863 and last year we upped that to $5,600!!
We cannot thank everyone enough & we are beyond excited to walk with you all again this July!
_THE MY22QT MISSION_: raise awareness, educate, help other diagnosed families cope, and pay it forward to the genetics division of Akron Childrens Hospital for expansion in research & services
The walk will take place on SUNDAY, JULY 13TH, 2025.
Please meet with everyone at the Jackson North Park pavilion.
This event will take place RAIN OR SHINE!
REGISTRATION BEGINS AT 9 AM AND THE WALK WILL START AT 10.
The track at the park is 1.1 miles. We will be going around twice for our total of 2.2.
_Please do not feel obligated to walk the entire route if you are unable.
_Plus, stay & hang out after for a PROVIDED LUNCH & RAFFLE GIVEAWAYS!
All participants will receive one free raffle ticket.
Others can be bought at the walk or earned by making a donation to Akron Children's Hospital or the my22qt foundation.
_Donations can be made upon registering, or by cash, check, or Venmo at the walk._
