Participants can choose between a scenic four-mile run/walk or a fun kids race, with the festivities starting at approximately 8:45 a.m. for the little ones, followed by the main event at 9:00 a.m. (please note, race start times may be adjusted due to train schedules). Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome, ensuring everyone can join in on the fun!
In the spirit of Thanksgiving, the top three male and female finishers across various age groups will receive delicious pies, while prize money will be awarded to the top five overall male and female finishers and the top three masters (ages 40+) in the four-mile event. With an exciting atmosphere, community camaraderie, and the chance to win fantastic prizes, the Fort Collins Thanksgiving Day Run is a fantastic way to celebrate gratitude and fitness this holiday season!

The FORT COLLINS THANKSGIVING DAY RUN is for runners, walkers and kids! Bring your family, friends and out of town guests and experience the community spirit of Fort Collins! The four-mile run/walk and kids fun run are staged in downtown Fort Collins, with the kids race starting off the festivities at approximately 8:45 a.m., followed immediately by the main event at approximately 9:00 a.m. Race start times may be delayed due to train schedule.
Strollers & Dogs on a leash are welcome, you must start in the strollers/ dog start section.
AWARDS for the race will be based on gun time, not chip time. Please seed yourself at the start line accordingly.
In keeping with the spirit of Thanksgiving, pies will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in the following age groups:8-10, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80+
