Two decades ago, Ethel Precht had a vision: to create a local walk event that would raise funds and provide vital financial support to individuals in Calcasieu and Cameron undergoing breast cancer treatment. This vision, fueled by Ethel's unwavering passion, has transformed the annual breast cancer walk into one of the most significant community events dedicated to breast cancer awareness.

As we celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Ethel Precht Hope Breast Walk of WCCH, we reflect on the remarkable journey we've embarked upon together. We are immensely proud to think of the number of lives weve transformed by being a resource to so many local breast cancer patients. We are excited to build upon our momentum for our milestone year.

The 2024 Ethel Precht HOPE Breast Cancer Walk of WCCH will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 on the Lake Charles Event Center Front Lawn.
