Get ready to lace up your running shoes for the 2024 Gaylord Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 28th, 2024! Taking place in the picturesque Gaylord, Otsego, this festive event invites participants to either run or walk a fun and engaging 5k course. Starting at the Gaylord Sportsplex parking lot at 9 AM, the route features a scenic out-and-back path along Gornick Avenue and the North Central State Trail, providing a wonderful opportunity for runners to cheer each other on while enjoying the beautiful surroundings.
This year, the first 100 registrants will receive a commemorative medal, adding an exciting incentive to sign up early, as the cut-off for medal orders is November 11th! With a registration fee of just $20 per person or $60 for families, this event not only promotes health and fitness but also supports a great cause—fundraising for the Gaylord Area Hockey Association. So, gather your friends and family, get into #FEASTMODE, and join us for a day filled with gratitude, community spirit, and plenty of fun!

THANKFUL FOR HOCKEY
Time to get into #FEASTMODE
You will be Huffin & Puffin for Turkey & Stuffin and run or walk the 5k. This is a fundraiser for the Gaylord Area Hockey Association and is not an officially timed race.
Fees for the race go towards the Finisher Medal and the Gaylord Hockey association fundraiser. After the medal -100% of your collected race fees will go towards the fundraise.
LOCATION: Gaylord Sportsplex parking lot.
ROUTE: This is an out and back. You will head north on Gornick ave and then turn onto the North Central State trail and run south. You will then be instructed to turn around and run the route back. This gives everyone a chance to see all the participants and cheer them on. We are so Thankful for everyone who is running to support Gaylord Hockey.
TIME: Doors Open at 8am and race will start at 9am. No packet pickup, just make sure to get your medal after you finish!
COST: $20 per Person/ $60 per Family (For Families of over 6 people, we do ask that you make an $3 donation per additional person on the site for the additional cost of the medal).
MEDALS- Cut off to medal order is 11/1/2024 (Extended to 11/11/24). Please register before then to get a medal. We cannot guarantee a medal after that date.
