This series of races was developed by trainers that wanted to teach their runners how to race. These races are designed to help runners know what to do on race day. How to get your packet, where to put your race number, and chip. What to do the day before, week before and race day. The pressure and anxiety of a race for runners can be daunting. By preplanning and rehearsing you as a runner will arrive at your goal race with experience to help minimize mistakes and problems.Sign up for this series if you are planning on running a half marathon or full marathon in the winter of 2024/2025.Weโve added a twist to this years race, adding an energy filled Relay Race. Some things to consider;
If you are a walker, make sure you check in at the timing table and tell them you are walking the entire race, and you are not running even on step, this puts you in a different category.
If you finish make sure your time matching what your watch says and that your name is spelled correctly and your gender is correct and you are in the right age category.If you do not finish do not leave until you tell the timing people, because we do not leave until all runners are finished, we will have to go look for you.Donโt run with someone elseโs number.
Wear your number on the front of your shorts and do not bend the number as it has your chip embedded into the bib.
We want you to have fun and here are a few things that might help.
Show up with plenty of time to get your bib, go to the bathroom and get in line before the start of your race.Invite family and or friends and ask them if they would like to volunteer while you run.
Being a volunteer for a couple of hours is an enjoyable thing, we promise they will love it.Bring a change of clothes and leave them in your car so you can get out of sweaty clothes and come back to the awards ceremony.
Each race has it's own fun design on the ever loved super soft tri-blend race shirt (unisex)
We continue to have non-profits involved and you will be able to donate to their cause when signing up.
Virtual runners
We offer the opportunity to run on your own but still sign up for the race. Life happens and sometimes even at the last minute you canโt make it to the race. You can switch to virtual we prefer if you do that on the Thursday before the race. The reason is that we assign bib numbers on Thursday before the race at noon. After noon it becomes hard for us to make changes and several people have to get involved. You may be charged more to switch to virtual after Thursday before each race.
If you are a virtual runners we do not put a limit on when you have to run. If you are injured it might be a few weeks before you can run that distance do not stress out. Do it when you can. We do have a virtual tab on our website click there and follow the instructions. If you want your packet mailed there will be a charge to mail your packet and this charge will be determined as we get closer to the event. Presently it is $12 per packet.
All of these things are here to help. We still love you, we just want you to have fun.
