This race will take place along Leon Creek, which is part of San Antonio’s linear park system. The city’s parks and recreation department has done a great job creating these greenway trails. They’re perfect for staying fit and enjoying the outdoors. They have miles of paved trails, which will give you some sun, shade, long flats and small hills. They have a little bit of everything.
November usually brings cooler weather to San Antonio. Sometimes, it actually brings cold weather this far south. If you need to get a 20 miler under your belt, this is the race/training area where you can make it happen. The weather should make it a more pleasant experience.
