Join us on Monday, May 27, 2024, for the vibrant and heartfelt Fort Mill Memorial Day HONOR Run, taking place in the charming town of Fort Mill, South Carolina. This annual event is a meaningful tribute to our nation's fallen military heroes, and everyone is invited to participate in this special day of remembrance. Gather at Amor Artis Brewing, located at 204 Main Street, where the community will come together to honor those who sacrificed so much for our freedom.
Participants can choose from three scenic routes of 1, 2, or 6 miles, making it a perfect opportunity for both seasoned runners and leisurely walkers. The festivities kick off with check-in from 7:00 AM to 7:30 AM, followed by a Circle of Remembrance and the start of the HONOR Run at 7:45 AM. In lieu of registration fees, attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items for the York County Veterans Affairs Office Food Pantry, helping local veterans in need. After the run, enjoy post-event refreshments and enter the exciting raffle for prizes from local sponsors. Come together to celebrate and remember, while making a difference in your community!

IN LIEU OF RUN REGISTRATION FEES PLEASE BRING A DONATION TO THE MEMORIAL DAY HONOR RUN, BENEFITTING THE YORK COUNTY VETERANS AFFAIRS OFFICE FOOD PANTRY, ANY OF THE FOLLOWING NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS INCLUDING:
Canned Vegetables (specifically in need of: Diced Tomatoes, Green Peas, Baked Beans)
Crackers (ie Saltines, Ritz type)
Dried Beans (not lentils)Hot/Cold Cereal
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Dry/Canned Soup
**Individual cans/bags, instead of bulk packaging, to easily distribute are greatly appreciated.
AGENDA: **WALKERS/RUNNERS PLEASE BE PREPARED TO CARRY PERSONAL WATER BOTTLES/HYDRATION GEAR, THERE WILL BE NO WATER AVAILABLE ON THE ROUTES.
