Youre invited to the 2025 Knoxville Gran Fondo and Trail Run on Saturday, June 21! This event will bring awareness to Alzheimers and welcome everyone to be part of a great cycling and running event. Timed route distances will include 25-mile, 60-mile, and 85-mile options. Plus, a timed trail run (approx. 5K distance).
Fondo Awards:
KOM/QOM Competition will be awarded to the fastest climber (Male and Female) to the top of Sevierville Pike climb at mile 4. Awards will also be given to the top 3 Place Finishers (Male/Female) in each Fondo distance.
Trail Run Awards:
Top male and female individual winner. Awards to the top male and female winners for age categories of 10 and under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
Awards will not be mailed.
Proceeds from this event will benefit Pedal for Alzheimer's - an organization committed to spreading awareness and raising funds for Alzheimer's research, education, support, and care.

The Event was fun. The pre-race details and directions were clear. The post race offered fresh fruit , water, juice and other snacks. The trail is challenging. It’s mainly a packed dirt bike trail. First 2 miles up hill and curvy. Last mile or so downhill and curvy. It is tricky a mountain dirt trail. Mainly clear track but you have to watch out for roots, uneven ground and the occasional protruding rocks. No water stops this year but this was my first year. Be prepared with an energy gel and water pack. Very humid in June so hydrate. I’ll run it next year because of the fun and challenge of the event.
