Join us on Friday, May 16th for the fourth annual Three for Three Honors Glow Run 5K! Register now to ensure your race entry, glow pack, and t-shirt!
The race will start and end on Gettys D. Broome High School's campus, rain or shine! Registration begins at 6:30 PM. The race begins at 8:00 PM.
Prizes will be given to the top male and female runners and '12 & Under' runner!
All proceeds from this race will benefit the Florence Moore Scholarship Fund.
Starting in 1993, Florence Moore, a teacher assistant in District Three, made it her goal to help students who wanted to further their education. For more than 20 years, she raised money to help provide scholarships, under the "Citizens for a Better Tomorrow Scholarship Fund" title.
Mrs. Moore was able to raise tens of thousands of dollars, all while battling several illnesses over the years. When she passed in March 2017, the scholarship committee changed the name to the Florence Moore Scholars Fund in her honor.
Since her passing, the Three for Three Honors committee has continued to raise money for District Three students, continuing her legacy and dream to help students afford college.
The Three for Three Honors Glow Run 5K will be held on Friday, May 16th, 2025. It is a chance to build up the scholarship fund, which gives money to 10 seniors each year on a merit and need basis.
