Get ready to kick off your Thanksgiving festivities with the 13th Annual GCR Thanksgiving Race on Thursday, November 26, 2026, in beautiful Naples, Collier! This family-friendly event features an exciting range of race distances, including a 5K, a 1-mile walk, and fun races for kids such as a 1K and a 100-yard dash. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, there’s something for everyone to enjoy on this scenic course that winds through the charming streets of downtown Naples.
Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets before race day on November 24 and 25 at Naples on the Run. On race day, packet pick-up will be available from 6 AM to 7:25 AM, so be sure to arrive early! The official race start is at 7:30 AM, with plenty of free parking nearby. All finishers will receive medals, and participants in the 5K and 1-mile walk will get shirts! Plus, in the spirit of Thanksgiving, bring along non-perishable food items to donate to St. Matthew's House. Join us for this uplifting event and make unforgettable memories while supporting a great cause!

Pre-Race Packet Pick Up - RECOMMENDED!
Tuesday 11/24 & Wednesday 11/25 @ Naples on the Run (20 10th St. S. Naples, FL 34102)
Hours - 11AM-4PM
Race Day Packet Pick Up - Race day starting at 6AM - NOT RECOMMENDED
Please arrive no later than 6:00am if you have not yet gotten your race number and shirt.
You may Pick up your packet at the race ONLY from 6:00am-7:25am.
NO DAY OF REGISTRATION.
Walkers are welcome for both the 1 mile walk and the 5K. Come one, come all! If you can't walk the full 5K, there is a turnaround for the mile. WALKERS/STROLLERS/DOGS ETC. PLEASE START NEAR THE BACK! There is one official start at 7:30am however those near the back will cross the official start line around 7:35am - your chip time will not start until you cross the official start line. Start line will stay up for 10 minutes after "runners set, go!" and then be pulled.
Our kids races are free, _but do NOT include a shirt_! A parent must sign them up here in order to agree to the waiver. Medals are given to our kids, but likely a medal from a past Thanksgiving Day GCR race.
This beautiful course will start on 5th Avenue & wind through downtown Naples!!
Plenty of FREE parking (multiple 4 story parking garages within 200m of packet pickup).
Shirts to all paid participants!
Race Medals to all finishers!
This race benefits:
St. Matthew's House and our Youth Development/ Scholarship Fund.
We are collecting canned goods for St. Matthew's House. Please bring your non-perishable items to packet pick-up or to the registration area on the day of the race.
