Organiser's Description
They have Cobblestones. We have the NETT.
Inspired by the most legendary one-day race in the worldParis-Roubaix (aka "The Hell of the North")we bring you a Texas-sized tribute rooted in our very own Paris.
Staging from Paris, Texas, this event utilizes significant segments of the Northeast Texas Trail (NETT) between Clarksville and Roxton, combined with the rugged county roads that crisscross the region. Just like its French counterpart, this course is designed to test your mettle, your equipment, and your resolve. It serves up a mix of pavement, gravel, and rail-trail "sectors" that will rattle your bones and fill your heart.
Choose your fate carefully. We offer a distance for every level of sinner and saint.
Route Options
The Main Event: 125 Miles of Pure Hell This is the full tribute. It is long, it is hard, and it is beautiful in a brutal sort of way. You will tackle the full diversity of the region, ending with a punishing but glorious long stretch on the NETT from Clarksville back to Paris.
Navigation: UNMARKED. This is a self-navigated endurance challenge. You must have a GPS unit with the route loaded.
The Heavenly 75 A sublime ride that balances the challenge of the terrain with a manageable distance. Youll get a taste of the "sectors" without facing the full fire.
Format: Timed.
Navigation: Fully Marked.
The Purgatory Grind (45 Miles) Not quite Heaven, definitely not Hell. This is the perfect middle ground for those wanting to grind out some gravel without the pressure of the clock.
Format: Untimed.
Navigation: Fully Marked.
The Limbo (30 Miles) An accessible, beginner-friendly out-and-back route from Paris to Roxton. This route stays mostly on the NETT, making it a great introduction to mixed-surface riding.
Format: Untimed/Beginner Friendly.
Navigation: Fully Marked.

We will keep you fueled for the fight:
