The festivities don't stop there! Our Kids Trot offers a fantastic opportunity for children aged 2-10 to get involved. With a specially designed course on the football field, kids will race based on age, starting at 10:00 am. Distances vary by age group, ensuring everyone can join in the fun: 3-4-year-olds will sprint one length of the field, while 5-6-year-olds will complete one lap. Older kids, aged 7-8 and 9-10, will tackle two laps, with an ultimate challenge for those daring enough to take on four laps! Be sure to arrive by 9:45 am to get ready for an unforgettable day of running, laughter, and community spirit. Don’t miss out on this festive celebration!

This year marks a milestone, as our annual Turkey Trot celebrates its 56th year! Wed like to invite you to celebrate with us by participating in this years 5k Turkey Trot Fun Run/Walk!
This family friendly event wouldn't be complete without a Kids Trot! Our kids trot is fun for all ages 2-10! Our course is set up on a football field near the finish line. We provide different distances to match each age level's abilities. Our Kids trot will start promptly at 10:00 am. Each race heat will be based off age and will be announced. Here are the distances by age group:
All kids must report to the Football field by 9:45am. Each age group will be announced when to start their race. Races will go in this order:
3/4's 1 Length of Football Field
5/6's 1 Lap around Football Field
7/8's 2 Laps around Football Field
9/10's 2 Laps around Football Field
Ultimate Challenge is for any children of all ages to complete 4 laps around the field.
