The Township of River Vale Sponsors this event

The vision of Run 4 the Love LLC and Fitness with Friends is to help communities become healthy, fit, and happy by providing coaching, clinics and classes for everyone young and old. We also have had a dream of bringing a 5k race to River Vale which we first did that in the Fall 0f 2022. And now again, we want River Vale with its picturesque streets, small hometown feel, and vibrant community spirit, to be the star of this brand new 3.1-mile journey with our very first Turkey Trot.

Starts at Mark Lane Sports Complex

Registration begins at 7:00 am.

Race Time begins 8:00 am.

ADULT FEE: $25

CHILD FEE: $15

REGISTRATION FEE WILL INCREASE TO $30 FOR ADULTS AND $20 PER CHILD ON 11/20.

Registrants will receive a commemorative River Vale Turkey Trot T-shirt!- MUST REGISTER BY 11/15 TO BE GUARANTEED A SHIRT. IF REGISTERED AFTER 11/15 IT IS DEPENDENT ON HOW MANY LATE REGISTRATIONS WE RECEIVE.

This is a race for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

Registrants will receive a commemorative Fitness with Friends and River Vale T-shirt!
Profits will be donated to the Helping Hand Food Pantry located in Hillsdale, NJ.
We are excited to share that this run will be timed electronically and populated into our database.

Proceeds will be donated to The Helping Hand Food Pantry

The Helping Hand Food Pantry is a non-profit charitable organization granted 501(C)(3) status by the IRS. It is entirely staffed by dedicated volunteers and relies on private donations, grocery stores, fundraisers, food drives, and grants to serve those in need. We currently serve approximately 1252 neighbors every month, including senior citizens, the disabled, active military members, as well as veterans. We are open on Monday evenings and the first Saturday morning of every month. Donations are accepted during these times or non-perishable foods can be placed in the covered outdoor receptacles at any time. The pantry serves community members from the towns of Emerson, Hillsdale, Oradell, Montvale, River Vale, Washington Township, Westwood, and Woodcliff Lake.

Our Spring Fling 5k's, Town Day 5k's, Shamrock Run 5k, and last years inaugural Turkey Trot has allowed us to donate over $10000 to this amazing organization that gives to people in need in our very own community!
