Join us for the 25th Anniversary Shannon McNamara Memorial Run/Walk on Sunday, October 26, 2025, in the vibrant community of Rolling Meadows, Cook. Participants can choose to take part in a 5K run or a 2-mile walk, with a thrilling 400m kids race for those 10 years and under following the main events. The race begins at the Rolling Meadows Community Center, where runners will start near the north lot entrance, and walkers will cheer them on as they form a gauntlet in the lot. Plus, don’t miss the costume contest with exciting prizes for the best costumes, including those for kids and pets! Registration and packet pick-up will open at 8 AM, so come early to join in on the festivities. Celebrate life, community, and the spirit of giving back at this memorable event!

Proceeds of the event will be donated back to the Shannon McNamara Memorial Scholarship Fund. Come join us for a day of fun and remembrance as we celebrate the joy of life and our beautiful community.
RACE DAY INSTRUCTIONS: ****NEW LOCATION****
Park in the Rolling Meadows Community Center lot off of Pheasant Dr in Rolling Meadows (use the south lot entrance). The starting line for runners will be near the north lot entrance of the Community Center . Walkers will form a gauntlet in the lot for the runners to run through at start before walking in behind the runners! The 400m kids race (10 years old and under) will be at the conclusion of the 5k race/2m walk!
COSTUME CONTEST:
Best costume prizes for kids and adults (pets too)
Race day registration and packet pick-up opens at 8am day of the event.
