Get ready for the 28th Annual Chief Joseph Uphill Run, taking place on Friday, July 4th, 2025, in the picturesque town of Laurel, Yellowstone! This exciting event offers participants three fantastic race distances to choose from: a 2-mile, a 4-mile, or a challenging 8-mile run. The race kicks off at Thompson Park on 6th Street, winding through the scenic hills north of town before returning to the park. For those tackling the 8-mile challenge, be sure to arrive bright and early at 6:30 AM as this race starts a half hour earlier than the others.
Don't miss out on the chance to secure a commemorative T-shirt by registering before June 20, 2025. Packet pickup will be available on July 2nd and 3rd from 11 AM to 3 PM at the Laurel Chamber of Commerce (108 E Main), with the option to pick up on race day morning at Thompson Park. Organiser's Description
The race starts at the Thompson Park 6th St., runs through the hills north of town, and back to the park. You can choose from a 2-mile, 4-mile, or 8-mile run. Note that the 8-mile race will start a 1/2 hour earlier, at 6:30 am.
Register before 6/20/2025 to make sure you get a T-shirt.
Packet pick up will be July 2nd from 11am-3pm & July 3rd - 11am to 3pm at the Laurel Chamber of Commerce (108 E Main). If at all possible, please pick up your packets at that time.
Packets can also be picked up on the morning of the 4th before the race at Thomson Park
