Join us for the 2nd Annual APS CTAE 5K on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in Atlanta, Fulton, as we celebrate the incredible Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) scholars of Atlanta Public Schools! This exciting event invites family, friends, and community members to lace up their running shoes and support our students in their educational journeys. The race will kick off at the HJ Russell West End Academy, where participants can enjoy a scenic course while contributing to a great cause.
With a registration fee of $40, participants will receive a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt, while all proceeds will directly benefit APS CTAE student scholarships. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking to enjoy a fun day out, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Don't forget to wear your favorite APS school shirt or colors to show your spirit! If you can’t make it in person, consider signing up as a Virtual 5K Participant and run at your pace. Help us make this event a success and support our scholars as they pave their paths to success!

Sign up for the 2nd Annual CTAE 5K, celebrating Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) scholars in Atlanta Public Schools!
APS Family and friends, we need you! Get ready to lace up your shoes and join us for an exciting event to support our scholars as they begin another exciting year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 8, 2025, and plan to meet us at the HJ Russell West End Academy, where we will be clocking miles for our scholars.
CTAE consists of various program concentrations of Career Pathways that have been developed for students to select and
complete. Career Pathways have three or four specialized courses developed to provide students with rigorous core elements, performance standards, and skills necessary after high school graduation to go straight into the workforce or choose college/university, or the military for additional training. Each career pathway provides students with the necessary tools to be successful at the next level of their educational career. Our Annual 5K supports these learning experiences.
The price of registration includes a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt. All proceeds will benefit APS CTAE student scholarships! T-shirts not guaranteed after January 24th. Raceday registration is available from 7:30AM UNTIL 8:45AM for $40.00.
This event is open to runners and walkers of all ages. All participants are encouraged to show their spirit by wearing their favorite APS school shirt or school colors for the 5K.
