Join us for the 2nd Annual APS CTAE 5K on Saturday, February 8, 2025, in the vibrant city of Atlanta, Fulton! This exciting event celebrates Career, Technical, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) scholars from Atlanta Public Schools, and we invite families and friends to come out and show their support. The race will kick off at HJ Russell West End Academy, where participants of all ages can lace up their shoes and run or walk to make a difference in the lives of our students.
With various race distances available, this fun-filled day includes a registration fee that covers a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt, with all proceeds going directly to APS CTAE student scholarships. Whether you're a seasoned runner or a casual walker, everyone is encouraged to wear their favorite APS school shirt or colors to show their spirit. Can't make it in person? No problem! You can still participate as a Virtual 5K Participant and run your own race at your pace. Don’t miss out on this fantastic opportunity to support our scholars while enjoying a day of community, fitness, and fun!

APS Family and friends, we need you! Get ready to lace up your shoes and join us for an exciting event to support our scholars as they begin another exciting year. Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 8, 2025, and plan to meet us at the HJ Russell West End Academy, where we will be clocking miles for our scholars.
CTAE consists of various program concentrations of Career Pathways that have been developed for students to select and
complete. Career Pathways have three or four specialized courses developed to provide students with rigorous core elements, performance standards, and skills necessary after high school graduation to go straight into the workforce or choose college/university, or the military for additional training. Each career pathway provides students with the necessary tools to be successful at the next level of their educational career. Our Annual 5K supports these learning experiences.
The price of registration includes a race bib and a commemorative T-shirt. All proceeds will benefit APS CTAE student scholarships! T-shirts not guaranteed after January 24th. Raceday registration is available from 7:30AM UNTIL 8:45AM for $40.00.
