Runners will also have the chance to win awards for the top three overall male and female finishers, as well as the top three in each age group. In addition to the fun and festivities, this event honors those affected by cancer, with each mile dedicated to a different type of cancer survivor. Proceeds from the event will benefit the American Cancer Society, making this a meaningful occasion for participants and supporters alike. F.I.T. - Friends in Training would like to invite you to South Florida's best winter celebration. The FIT Friends in Training 10K, 5K & Kids Run Winter Extravaganza presented by Baptist Health will treat you to the feel of the most northern city with snow, Santa, Snowmen, snow cones, and a great 10K, 5K and Kids Run. F.I.T. will turn Plantation Central Park into a winter wonderland.
Each participant will receive a personalized race bib with RFID timing chip, event shirt, beautiful finisher medal, and an amazing goodie bag. Awards will be provided to top 3 overall (male and female) as well as top 3 in each age group.
