DESCRIPTION

Join the Seashore Striders & Delaware State University for a fun 5k Run & 5k Walk. The mission is to raise awareness for prevention and intervention in sexual assault and violence on campus. Learning how to become resilient from traumatizing experiences and creating community awareness, collaboration, and engagement while establishing safe spaces on campus.



RACE DATE: Saturday, April 27, 2024



RACE TIME: 9 am start



RACE LOCATION: Delaware State University Downtown Campus; 120 N. State St., Dover, DE. 19901



RACE DAY PICKUP: Pick up your Race Bib & T-Shirt from 8 am - 8:50 am at the start on race morning



REGISTRATION:

5K RUN/WALK RACE ENTRY FEE: (RUN OR WALK)

* $25 "EARLY BIRD" registration (till April 26th at 10 pm)
* $30 "RACE DAY" registration from 8-8:50 at the Race Start


5K STUDENT RUN/WALK RACE ENTRY FEE: (WITH ID). (RUN OR WALK)

* $15 "EARLY BIRD" registration (till April 26th at 10 pm)
* $20 "RACE DAY" registration from 8-8:50 at the Race Start



PLEASE READ...IF you plan to run or jog any part of the course, please sign up for the "5K RUN". The "5K WALK" is only for those who "WALK" the whole 5k distance. Seashore Striders thank you for your cooperation.

RACE TIMING: Seashore Strider Event Production will chip time the event using the Chronotrack chip timing system.



RACE AMENITIES: Short Sleeve race shirts, medals to age group winners and light refreshments.



AWARDS: Overall male and female, Masters, plus top 3 in 10 year age groups 13 under to 70 over. Top 3 male & female walkers will receive medals
