Get ready for an exciting day at the 4th Annual Seize the Day: Amer's Epilepsy Trail Race on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at the beautiful Mendon Ponds Park in Mendon, Monroe. This vibrant event invites participants of all ages and abilities to choose from three fantastic race options: a timed 5K Trail Run or Walk, a timed 10K Trail Run or Walk, and a fun, untimed One-Mile Fun Run or Walk. The scenic trails will take you through the stunning North Meadow and East Esker trails, making it a perfect way to enjoy the great outdoors while supporting a worthy cause.
Not only will you have a blast competing on these picturesque courses, but all registered participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and awards will be handed out in various age categories. Whether you're running, walking, or just cheering on your friends and family, your participation will help benefit EPI: Empowering People's Independence and its epilepsy programs, supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals. 5K AND 10K: These trail races will begin in the same location, JUST SOUTH OF CANFIELD RD [https://springwatertrails.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/MendonPondsMap.png]., across the street from the from Pine Woods Trail. The 5K and 10K courses will follow the North Meadow and East Esker trails.
ONE-MILE FUN RUN: This trail fun run will follow the PINE WOODS TRAIL [https://springwatertrails.org/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/MendonPondsMap.png], on the north side of Canfield Rd.

Walkers are welcome to participate in all three races!
