We are excited to invite you to the Lake Nebagamon Volunteer Fire Departments Annual Dragin Tail 5-Mile Walk/Run, taking place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, at 8:00 AM, starting at the Lake Nebagamon Village Auditorium.

This long-standing community tradition serves as an important fundraiser for our volunteer fire department. Our members dedicate countless hours and put themselves at risk to respond to emergencies throughout Lake Nebagamon and the surrounding areas. Funds raised support the purchase of essential equipment such as personal protective gear, medical supplies, firefighting tools, and communication devices. Thanks to our most recent fundraiser, we were able to outfit a new one-ton truck fully, significantly improving our response capabilities. This year, our goal is to raise $20,000 to upgrade critical safety gear and purchase battery-powered extrication tools that enhance rescue efforts and firefighter safety.
