This year, the event is proud to support CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of East Central Illinois, which champions the needs of children in the juvenile court system. As you run, enjoy the refreshing atmosphere and the support of local sponsors, including Starbucks, who will keep you energized with coffee and refreshments. All participants will receive a race-specific shirt (available for those who register by November 1st) and a finisher medal, along with the chance to win age group awards. This 4th ANNUAL event will once again benefit _CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES) OF EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS! NOVEMBER 9TH!_
CASA advocates are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to determine the best interests of children in the juvenile court system due to abuse and neglect. They currently serve 189 children in Coles and Cumberland counties.
WHERE:
The race starts and finishes just west of O'Brien Stadium at EIU, Charleston Illinois!
WHEN:
November 9, 2024. Packet pickup 7:30a race day. Race starts at 9am!
NEW this year is a Fun Run/Walk! This starts 5 minutes after the 5k runners take off!

As a premier sponsor, Starbucks (Mattoon & Charleston) will provide registration and, of course, _COFFEE!_
