Join us for the 4th Annual 5K For COFFEE - and CASA event on November 9th, 2024, in Charleston, Coles! This exciting event benefits CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES) OF EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS, who work tirelessly to advocate for children in the juvenile court system. The race will start and finish just west of O'Brien Stadium at EIU, with a Fun Run/Walk added this year for even more fun! Starbucks will be providing coffee, and there will be chip timing, door prizes, finisher medals, top finisher awards, and age group awards. Water stations and refreshments will be available along the course. Registrations are accepted on race day, but be sure to sign up prior to November 1st to guarantee a shirt. This 4th ANNUAL event will once again benefit _CASA (COURT APPOINTED SPECIAL ADVOCATES) OF EAST CENTRAL ILLINOIS! NOVEMBER 9TH!_
CASA advocates are appointed by the Juvenile Court Judge to determine the best interests of children in the juvenile court system due to abuse and neglect. They currently serve 189 children in Coles and Cumberland counties.
WHERE:
The race starts and finishes just west of O'Brien Stadium at EIU, Charleston Illinois!
WHEN:
November 9, 2024. Packet pickup 7:30a race day. Race starts at 9am!
NEW this year is a Fun Run/Walk! This starts 5 minutes after the 5k runners take off!
SWAG:
As a premier sponsor, Starbucks (Mattoon & Charleston) will provide registration and, of course, _COFFEE!_
Chip timed event!
Door prizes!

Finisher Medal
Top finisher awards - multiple age group awards including youth!
Water provided throughout with one water stand at roughly 1.5 miles. Refreshments provided!
