Organiser's Description
The 5K for KJ is a race through the Manuel Corellus State Forest on Martha's Vineyard. The route follows the Martha's Vineyard Cross Country 5K course. The race was established in honor of a former XC runner who lost his life in an automobile accident. Proceeds from the race go to the Kevin Johnson Cross Country Scholarship Fund. This fund provides a $1,000 scholarship for two team members upon graduation to use towards college.
