5K COURSE
THE 5K COURSE IS LOCATED ON ROAD AND GRAVEL. THE PAVED SURFACE CONTAINS LOW-GRADE INCLINES AND DECLINES AND MEANDERS THROUGH TREES AND AROUND THE CAMPGROUNDS IN BEAUTIFUL CHESTER COUNTY, HIBERNIA PARK. THE CLOCK WILL BEGIN AT THE START OF THE 5K RACE AND PARTICIPANTS' TIMES WILL BE RECORDED VIA CHIP TIMER.
THE 1-MILE FUN RUN/WALK WILL OCCUR 15 MINUTES AFTER THE 5K START TIME. THE FUN RUN/WALK WILL BEGIN AT PAVILION 5 AND RUN STRAIGHT (FLAT ROADWAY) OUT TO THE GATE AT CEDAR KNOLL ROAD AND RETURN TO PAVILION 5. THE FAMILY-FRIENDLY ACTIVITY WILL NOT BE TIMED. ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FREE T-SHIRT.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED TO ATTEND THIS COMMUNITY EVENT ALONG WITH THE PARTICIPANTS. THE PARK FEATURES A PLAYGROUND, AND A VARIETY OF CONCESSIONS AND CHILDREN'S GAMES WILL BE AVAILABLE FREE OF CHARGE. WE WELCOME STROLLERS AND PETS!

**If you are participating in the 5K or Fun Run, you can "add-on" the Diaper Derby to your registration for only $5! (Only use this option if this is the only race you're participating in) Get ready for giggles and cuteness overload at our 2nd Annual Diaper Derby! Register your little crawler today and watch them scoot, wiggle, and giggle their way to the finish line. Its all for fun, with sweet prizes and memories youll treasure forever and best of all, proceeds support our life-affirming mission! PLEASE NOTE: this race will only happen if we have at least 5 registrations; otherwise, participants will be reimbursed. This race will happen right before the 5K (around 8:45am) RULES: -Racers must be crawling and unable to walk yet No walking or running on those tiny toes! -You can cheer, clap, sing, and make silly faces, but no touching once the race begins. -First baby to cross the finish line completely wins! 1st place winner will be awarded! **The Diaper Derby will occur rain or shine. Sorry, refunds are not available.
