5K Run Walk to Remember

This great 5K benefits PruittCares - Camp Cocoon, which is a bereavement camp for children ages 6-17. The camp offers the children a safe environment to talk about their loved ones, ask counselors and medical professionals any questions they may have or just to let loose and enjoy the normal summer camp activities. Our hope is that this event can provide that same opportunity to adults in the community; a chance to wear something to honor a loved one that has passed away, talk to others who might have gone through similar experiences or just a chance to get together with friends and neighbors to compete on fast course, set a new PR or just to run or walk to raise money for good cause. All proceeds will go to offsetting the cost of the camp and sponsoring children to attend Camp Cocoon at no cost.
