Get ready to celebrate the holiday season with the 5th Annual Festive Four Miler, taking place on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at the beautiful Grand Park at Market Common in Myrtle Beach, Horry. This upbeat event features multiple race options perfect for the whole family! Join us for the main event, the Festive Four (ish) Miler, where participants will run or walk four loops around the picturesque Grand Park Lake starting at 8:00 AM. Kids can get in on the fun too, with an 800-meter Kids Fun Run at 9:15 AM, and don’t miss the whimsical Jurassic Jaunt, a 50-yard dash where participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite costumes at 9:30 AM.
Not only is this a fantastic way to enjoy the outdoors and kick off your holiday festivities, but it also supports a great cause! Proceeds from the event benefit Fostering Hope, an organization dedicated to improving the lives of children in the local foster care system. All participants will receive a custom-designed finisher medal, with additional options to purchase hoodies and t-shirts. Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holiday season to join us for our 5th Annual Festive Four Mile run/walk to benefit Fostering Hope. You have 3 race options to choose from! The Festive Four (ish) Miler will complete 4 loops around Grand Park Lake at Market Common. The Kids Run will complete 800 meters around the lake. The Jurassic Jaunt will feature YOU dressed in your favorite costume for a 50 yard dash along the lake. All participants receive a custom designed finisher medal (finisher medal for the 4 Miler and Kids Run only) and the option of purchasing a hoodie and/or t-shirt.
BENEFICIARY:
Fostering Hope was established in 2004 by citizens who saw a need to assist some of the most vulnerable children in our community, the children residing in our local foster care system. Our purpose at Fostering Hope is to help make these children's lives a little bit easier by making sure they have basic necessities such as clothing, shoes, and hygiene items. We also try to lift their spirits and let them know the community cares by providing toys, books, school supplies, homemade quilts, and more. Join us and make a difference in the life of a child!

* _Kids' Fun Run:_ Participants will run/walk half a loop around Grand Park Lake at Market Common (9:15am)
* _Jurassic Jaunt:_ Participants are asked to dress up in costume for a 50 yard "jaunt" at Grand Park (9:30am)
