Lace up your sneakers and join us for the 5th Annual POWR 5K Run and Community Awareness Walk, benefiting the Parkinsons Connection at the Katz JCC in Cherry Hill.
Whether you're a seasoned runner chasing a personal best, a casual jogger, a dedicated walker, or simply someone who wants to make a difference, this event offers a meaningful opportunity to come together as a community while supporting individuals and families affected by Parkinsons disease.
Participants in the 5K will experience a scenic, USATF-certified course winding through one of Cherry Hills beautiful neighborhoods. Those participating in the Community Awareness Walk can enjoy a safe, accessible route along the sidewalks surrounding the JCC campus, welcoming mobility devices and participants of all ages and abilities who want to show their support for this important cause.
What began in 2017 as a single Movement and Motivation dance class has grown into The Parkinsons Connection, a thriving community providing more than 20 weekly movement and wellness programs, support groups, educational resources, and social connections for people living with Parkinsons disease, as well as their caregivers and families.
Our dedicated team works every day to ensure that no one faces Parkinsons alone. Every registration, donation, and show of support helps us continue expanding programs that promote strength, independence, connection, and hope.
