Join us for the 5th Annual Turkey Day 5k on November 26, 2026, in Kasson, Dodge County! This family-friendly run/walk is the perfect way to kick off your Thanksgiving morning by burning some calories before indulging in your festive feast. Participants can choose between two distances: the 5k or the 2.5k, making it accessible for everyone.
After the race, those 21 and over can enjoy a refreshing Bloody Mary or Screwdriver to help get ready for family time, while all participants will be treated to water, coffee, hot chocolate, and delicious post-race snacks, generously provided by the Dodge County Salvation Army. Plus, you won’t want to miss the fun Costume Contest with exciting prizes! With all registration proceeds benefiting the local Food Shelf and the Dodge County Salvation Army, this event truly embodies the spirit of neighbors helping neighbors. Be sure to register by November 10, 2025, to secure your race t-shirt, and join us for a day of community, camaraderie, and celebration!

Organiser's Description
Family friendly run/walk on Thanksgiving morning hosted by The Main Alternative in Kasson, MN. Burn some calories before you go eat a big meal. Bloody Mary's and Screwdrivers available for participants 21+ after the run/walk to help get you ready for family time! Water, coffee and hot chocolate will be provided by the Dodge County Salvation Army. Post race snacks will also be available to participants.
The 5k and 2.5k both use the 5k link. You pick your distance!
All race registration proceeds, and any extra donations will be split and donated directly to the Food Shelf in Kasson to help feed individuals and families in Dodge County and to the Dodge County Salvation Army! Neighbors helping neighbors! Come out and support your community and meet some new friends along the way!
Costumes are DEFINITELY ENCOURAGED! After the race while we're enjoying beverages, we will have a Costume Contest (the winner gets a special prize) as well as some drawings for fun prizes!
Race t-shirts will be given to participants who register by November 10, 2025, at NOON! Shirt sizes range from Youth Medium to Adult XXXL. If you are not registered by November 10, 2025, at NOON you will NOT be guaranteed a t-shirt. Be sure to sign up ASAP!
