Join us for the 6th Annual Canines Against Cancer Support Walk on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the Morgan Road Pavilion in West Springfield, Hampden! This exciting event kicks off at 5:00 PM and is designed to bring our community together in support of cancer survivors. Participants can enjoy a scenic 1/2 mile stroll while collecting inspirational painted rocks along the trail, and there’s plenty of fun for the whole family with activities like a kids craft table, horseshoes, and cornhole.
With a registration fee of just $15, you'll receive a meal voucher for a delicious grilled hamburger or hot dog, and if you raise $75 or more, you’ll earn an exclusive 2025 Canines Against Cancer event t-shirt! Whether you’re walking in person or participating virtually, your involvement makes a difference. Were excited to welcome you to our 6th Annual Canines Against Cancer Fundraiser on FRIDAY, AUGUST 22, 2025, FROM 500 PM at the MORGAN ROAD PAVILION, 429 MORGAN ROAD, WEST SPRINGFIELD, MA 01089 (behind the Irish Cultural Center of Western Massachusetts).
This fun-filled, family-friendly evening brings our community together to support cancer survivors during one of the most vulnerable timesafter treatments end.
REGISTER WITH A $15 TAX DEDUCTIBLE DONATION and receive a meal voucher good for a freshly grilled hamburger or hot dogserved hot off the grill during the event!
RAISE $75 OR MORE, and youll also receive an exclusive 2025 Canines Against Cancer event t-shirt as a thank-you for your support.
WE BEGIN with a relaxing stroll on the trail and collect inspirational painted rocks along the way. The 1/2 mile walk is to remember A beautiful memory wall is displayed at the pavilion to remember loved ones. Theres FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY with a kids craft table, playground, horseshoes, cornhole, and other family-friendly activities. Try your luck at our many games including horseshoes, cornhole, dog races (sponsors) & the famous WINE RING TOSSif you ring a bottle, its yours to take home! Additional hamburgers & hotdogs will be available for purchase all provided by the generosity of the BEAVERS CLUB OF WESTERN MASS. Quench your thirst with craft beer, wine, seltzers, lemonade, water, or a refreshing specialty cocktail. Bring your dog (or notfurry friends are welcome but not required), gather your loved ones, and be part of a meaningful movement.

* Of course! Canines Against Cancer welcomes all human walkers, with or without a canine companion. There will be plenty of cute canines begging for your attention. Because canines are cute, canines need/love walks, walking is great exercise, walking with others is even greater & walking with canines for a cause is super great.
* CAN I PARTICIPATE IF I DONT LIVE IN WESTERN MA?
* Yes!!! The benefit of our Hybrid Canines Against Cancer Support Walk is, that you can participate no matter where you are; Massachusetts, New England, Connecticut, New York, across the country or across the globe.
* DO I HAVE TO FUNDRAISE?
* Youre not obligated to fundraise for our Canines Against Cancer Support Walk though it helps & its easy.

Check-in for all walk participants begins at 5:00 PM on Friday, August 22 at the Irish Cultural Center Pavilion (429 Morgan Road, West Springfield, MA). Your $15 registration includes a voucher for a hot dog or hamburger to use at the event. Enjoy raffles, games, and fundraiser merchandise for saleincluding event T-shirts, 16 oz aluminum water bottles, hats, and more. The Pavilion is a spacious, covered outdoor venue, so the event will happen rain or shine. Come for the walkstay for great food, cocktails, and family fun!
