Join us for the 7th Annual HUDDLE UP! on the 50 - 5K Run/Walk in Thibodaux, Lafourche, on Saturday, August 17, 2024! This exciting event celebrates the kickoff of the fall sports season at Nicholls State University and promises a day filled with fun for the whole family. Participants can take part in a flat and fast 5K Run/Walk that winds through the university campus, culminating at the iconic 50-yard line of John L. Guidry Stadium.
In addition to the 5K, there’s a Kids Fun Run for children aged 12 and under, making it a perfect outing for families. Enjoy a lively Tailgate Cook-off Competition and get ready to cheer on the Colonels at their football scrimmage to cap off an unforgettable day. All runners will receive an official race T-shirt and a unique finishers medal, with awards for the top finishers and age group categories. Don’t miss the Post Race Finish Fest offering complimentary food, beverages, and live entertainment! Come and be part of this fantastic community celebration!

Welcome to the 7th Annual HUDDLE UP! on the 50 - 5K Run/Walk and Fun Run on the 50 for kids 12 and under. Thank you for choosing to join us again this year. This is an annual fundraising event that celebrates the beginning of the fall sports season at Nicholls State University. This family-friendly event features a 5K Run/Walk, Kids Fun Run, and Tailgate Cook-off Competition all leading to a Colonels football scrimmage to end the day.
The "HUDDLE UP! on the 50 - 5K Run/Walk" takes advantage of a flat, fast course that runs through the campus of Nicholls State University before finishing on the 50 yard line of John L. Guidry Stadium. All participants are invited to attend our Post Race Finish Fest that includes complimentary food and beverages for participants (ID Required) along with live entertainment. Runners will receive an official race T-shirt and unique finishers medal upon completion of the race. Awards will be given to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd overall finishers. Additionally, Age Group awards will be given, for both male and female participants.

The 1 mile route passes through the streets of Nicholls State University and finishes on the 50 yard line of John L. Guidry Stadium. Official HUDDLE UP! Race T-Shirt Fun Run On the 50 Finishers Medal Unique Race Bib Entry Into The Post Race Finish Fest 30 Minute Time Limit We only guarantee the desired shirt size for participants that register prior to Midnight on July 31, 2024. Participants that register on or after August 1, 2024 will receive shirts on a first come first serve basis and while supplies last.
