Get ready for a fantastic community celebration at the 8th Annual BackCountry 5K and Park Party on Sunday, September 17, 2023, in beautiful Littleton, Douglas! This exciting event is perfect for families and friends, featuring a scenic 5K run or walk that welcomes participants of all ages and abilities. The race kicks off at 9:30 AM at Solstice Park, and with only a $20 registration fee for participants aged 12 and older, you'll receive a fun t-shirt, delicious food, refreshing drinks, and an afternoon filled with entertainment. Kids aged 11 and younger can join in for free—no shirt included!
After the race, the Park Party will come alive with live music, local vendor booths, and plenty of awards to celebrate the participants. Bring your pets on leashes and strollers, and enjoy a day of camaraderie with your neighbors as you run, walk, and enjoy the festivities. Join your neighbors for the 8th Annual BackCountry 5k and Park Party
Hello neighbors! It's time to Run or Walk the annual 5K. This is an awesome event for the whole family. There will be food, music, and an official timed 5K.
Sign up is only $20 for participants 12 and older - includes a t-shirt, food, drink, entertainment, and fun! 11 and younger are FREE (but no shirt)!
The runs begin at 930AM and the party gets started shortly thereafter. There will be awards, food, water, live music, and vendor booths.
Pets on leashes and strollers are welcome, as are runners and walkers of all ages and abilities! The route will be clearly marked starting at Solstice Park - with plenty of local young volunteers showing you the way.
