Organiser's Description
#9 and feeling fine!!!
An event that's been described as "Harder than Western States," "soul-crushing," and "horrifying." We have also been called the "Dick's Last Resort" of races. Rated PG-13 IF we are on our best behavior. And we already promised other people we would be on our worst behavior so...... Sold yet?
Eat a taco, run a one mile loop. Do that ten times, and faster than anyone else and you win...(Do you though? Really?)
Got a brand new spot this year at El Bracero in Deep River CT.
All proceeds will be going to the Connecticut Forest and Park Association!
FAQ:
_What happens if I don't run all ten loops?_ You still get a Ragged Cuts medal and a tiny taco for each loop you run.
_Can i get a refund if I dont eat all ten tacos?_ No. Bring a hungry friend if you dont think youre going for the full Monty. Any tacos left over are considered a sacrifice to the race gods.
_Can I just run and not eat the tacos? _Sure- if you sign up for a different race. You must eat at least one taco and then run one loop to receive an event medal here.
_What happens if I puke? _Puking is an immediate DQ. Don't puke. Its NOT demure.
_What else should I expect?_ Tom-foolery. Regret. Stupidity. This race isn't that serious.
_If I am the fastest (stupidest?) what do I win?_ We will have trophies for 1st place male, 1st place female, and 1st place non-binary.
Its Taco Time. Waitlist goes into affect if race sells out
