Organiser's Description
The 12th _ANNUAL ADVENTHEALTH AVISTA LOUISVILLE TURKEY TROT_ was created as a means to collect food and donations for our local food bank, Community Food Share and to create an incredible community event to celebrate the holiday and spend time with our loved ones in an active, joyful manner. As the event grew, the Louisville Turkey Trot became a public benefit corporation, which is a corporation created to generate social and public good, and to operate in a responsible and sustainable manner.
TIME & LOCATION:
November 27, 2025
Race Start: 9:00 a.m.

DO I NEED TO REGISTER?!
Yes! Your entry and any other food donation go to support Community Food Share, whose mission is to eliminate hunger in Boulder and Broomfield Counties through engagement, collaboration, and leadership. For every $1 donated, Community Food Share can provide $6 worth of groceries!
Last years race raised more than $76,000 for Community Food Share and we hope to raise even more this year!
While our race began as a free event for the first few years, we decided we wanted to make a bigger impact for Community Food Share by charging an entry fee to be donated! If you are choosing to trot, please show integrity and sign up.
To make it accessible to as many people as possible, our race entries are half of most races with early entry pricing as low as half of the race day entry, so let all your friends know to register early! We keep costs low by eliminating bibs, t-shirts, and chip timing. Although, a huge thank you to our partners, we do offer complimentary coffee and hot chocolate for all, and local beers, NA beers and hard ciders for those 21+ (with ID). This event truly is about spending time with your loved ones and supporting the community!
So grab your favorite costume, wear your smart watch if you want to track your time, and join the Louisville and surrounding community in the BEST way to celebrate Thanksgiving day morning!
