Set against the stunning backdrop of Stable View in Aiken, South Carolina, this event invites participants of all ages to embrace the Halloween spirit while conquering beautiful trails surrounded by lush forests and rolling hills. The race features a variety of distances to suit everyone, from serious runners to little ghouls and goblins eager to join in the Kids Fun Run.
All participants will receive a finisher's medal, an awesome t-shirt, and delicious post-race refreshments to celebrate their achievements. With awards for the top three male and female finishers in each race category and exciting costume contests, including titles for the Most Unique and Scariest costumes, there's something for everyone at this festive gathering. Organiser's Description
Celebrate Halloween with a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids Fun Run on the trails at the beautiful Stable View equestrian facility, sprawling over 1,000 acres of gently rolling hills bordered by canopies of forest.
Participants will receive a finisher's medal, a super cool t'shirt, great post-race food and access to hot showers. Long sleeve t'shirts will be guaranteed through October 15th. Short sleeve t'shirts will be available while they last!
There will be 4 rest stops with water and Nunn
Over all awards go to the top 3 female/male finishers for the half marathon, 10K and the 5K. As well as first place age group medals. Ages awarded are 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74 and 75-79.
Make sure you look out for the Headless Horseman galloping through the woods...
