This exciting event takes place in the charming city of Alameda, where you can run or walk a fast and flat 5K (3.1 miles) through the picturesque streets. Starting at 8:30 AM, the race provides an excellent opportunity to enjoy the festive atmosphere and support a great cause—the Midway Shelter of Alameda.
Packet pick-up for participants will be available from July 1st to July 3rd at Laurens Closet, with race day registration opening at 7:30 AM on July 4th at the new location on the corner of Santa Clara and La Pena. The race kicks off at 1420 Park St. and concludes at 1526 Webster St., conveniently across from Tapout Fitness. This year, shuttle service will be available to transport runners back to the start, making your experience even more enjoyable. Come out for our July 4th tradition and run this flat and fast point to point 5k thru the closed streets of Alameda. We will be starting again at 8:30AM to provide ample space between our runners and the Parade that follows.
GENERAL OVERVIEW:
The 5K run (3.1 mile) and walk takes you through beautiful Alameda winding thru business and residential streets. This run benefits the Midway Shelter of Alameda.

* 7/1 thru 7/3: Laurens Closet. 1420 Park St, Alameda. Hours 10:00am - 5:00pm
* 7/4 Race morning registration opens at 7:30am 1440 Park St, Alameda ~ La Pena corner of Santa Clara (New Location)
