Get ready for an exhilarating experience at the Ambulance Driver 5K at BADSONS Brewery on Wednesday, July 15, 2026! This exciting event takes place in Derby, located in the picturesque Naugatuck Valley, and promises a brand-new course filled with fun and community spirit. Participants will receive a stylish short-sleeve tech race shirt (if registered by June 20th), a finisher medal, and a goodie bag filled with delightful swag.
In addition to the main 5K race, this year introduces the inaugural Kids Fun Run, a half-mile adventure for runners aged 12 and under, featuring their own finisher medals and fire safety swag bags. Runners aged 21 and older will enjoy a complimentary draft beer with their registration, and the first 250 registrants will receive 10 free wings from the Dew Drop Inn! Join us for a fantastic after-party at BADSONS Brewery, complete with a water stop and an optional sprinkler station to keep you cool. OPENS 06 FEBSupport the Storm Engine Company Ambulance & Rescue Corps as we return to glory with the second annual 5K road race at BADSONS Brewery. Founded in 1948 the Storm Engine Company Ambulance & Rescue Corps is a Non-Profit organization that provides Emergency Medical Service, Technical Rescue, and Hazardous Materials Response to the City of Derby and the residents of the lower Naugatuck Valley. Race Participants receive: Short-Sleeve Tech Race Shirt Finisher Medal GOODIE Bag with swag! Runners 21 and older receive one free draft beer with registration. The first 250 runners to register will receive 10 free wings from our friends at the DEW DROP INN Join us for the after-party at the BADSONS Brewery Don't worry about the heat! A water stop and optional Sprinkler Station will be provided. Still feeling the 4th? Start and end with a run under an oversized old glory provided by the Derby Fire Department. Drop-In, at the Dew Drop Inn down the street to purchase your favorite wing flavors! -
