The Flannel 5K is our celebration of everything we love about fall in the Pacific Northwest. Cool mornings, cozy vibes, great people, and a whole lot of plaid. This special 3.1-mile course takes runners onto Swinomish Tribal lands, made possible through exclusive permission from the Swinomish Indian Tribal Community. We're grateful for the opportunity to share this unique running experience and ask all participants to respect the land and the privilege of running here. Fast runner? Fantastic. Casual jogger? Perfect. Walking with friends? Absolutely. And yes, we encourage you to wear your favorite flannel. Lumberjack chic is always in style. 3.1 miles. All the fall feels.

A little late but I figured I would add a review since it was mine and my husband's first 5k. If you're looking for a scenic trail, this area is gorgeous this time of year. We stayed at the casino so we were conveniently located a short dart across the parking lot. It was overall a great experience, especially for first time runners. The only thing we as beginners had trouble with was the uneven terrain in some spots of the trail so if you're not the most athletic or stable on your feet, please be careful. That being said, I kindly thank the reservation for opening up this trail to the event and allowing the hosts to use it. It's beautiful out there.
