Join Initial Mile's Anime Fan and Fitness Festival, where the worlds of anime and fitness collide. Whether you're a fan of iconic anime series or a fitness enthusiast looking to challenge yourself, kick off the festival morning with our inaugural Anime Fan and Fitness Festival 5k Run. After the run, continue to fuel your passion for both anime and fitness with our festival celebration featuring creators, artists, cosplay, food vendors, small business, our Warriors Obstacle Sprint and more.

START/FINISH: Christmas Hill Park, Gilroy CA
PARKING: Free parking is available across the street from the festival and on public roads in nearby neighborhoods.

Early Bird: $38 (April 7 - June 29)
Regular: $50 (June 30 - September 5)
No race day registration available

Finisher wood medal
BENEFICIARY:
Announcing our beneficiary the Humane Society Silicon Valley. Portions of 5k registration proceeds will support the Humane Society Silicon Valley. In addition to our 5k registrations, our festival will also include activities to further support our friends at HSSV. Stay Tuned!

Placer awards will be given to the top three male, female and non-binary runners.

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING WITH ME TO PICK UP MY BIB NUMBER?
Please have a valid photo ID prepared.
ARE REFUNDS AVAILABLE IF I CANNOT MAKE IT TO THE RACE?
No. However, athletes can use the credit toward the next 5k event.
CAN I RUN IN COSPLAY?
Absolutely, as long as your cosplay is an acceptable size and does not disrupt the runners on course.
CAN I PLAY MUSIC ON A PORTABLE SPEAKER DURING THE RACE?
Due to the safety and experience of your fellow runners, portable speakers are prohibited on course. Please feel free to use personal headphones however be mindful of course markings and fellow runners.
IS THE ROUTE ON A DIRT OR PAVED TRAIL?
Our 5k route is on a flat, out and back course on paved trails.
ARE KIDS, STROLLERS AND DOGS ALLOWED TO RUN?
YES! This is a family friendly event. If you choose to bring your furry friend, please have yourself connected to at least a 5ft leash. Retractable dog leashes are prohibited.
HOW MUCH OF THE 5K REGISTRATION PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO HSSV?
10% of each individual 5k registration will be donated to HSSV.
