Race day excitement kicks off with packet pickup and registration at Pack Square Park from 7 AM to 8:30 AM. The 5K race starts on Woodfin Street in front of the Downtown YMCA, winding through the charming streets of Asheville and finishing at Pack Square Park. The Gobble Wobble offers a shorter distance that’s perfect for families and kids looking to get in on the Thanksgiving fun. Don't forget, early registration is encouraged to secure your event shirt! The 26th Annual Asheville Turkey Trot 5K and Gobble Wobble 1 Mile Fun Run presented by Jus Running is Thanksgiving Day- Thursday, November 26, 2026. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to MANNA Food Bank. Early packet pickup will be Wednesday, November 25 from 3pm until 6pm, at TBD. Race day registration is available. Keep in mind shirts aren't guaranteed during late registration. IF NOT REGISTERED BY NOVEMBER 1, SHIRTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED. Race day packet pick up will be at Pack Square Park from 7am until 8:30am. The race starts on Woodfin St. in front of the Downtown YMCA and finishes at Pack Square Park. Please note, due to restrictions NO DOGS/PETS are allowed. The course is not completely closed so this is for safety purposes. Race timing will be provided by Right On Time Productions. 2. Head toward Central Ave, turn right.
3. To the top of the hill, turn right on E. Chestnut St.
4. Turn left on Charlotte
5. Follow Charlotte St to Evelyn Place, turn left
6. Follow Evelyn place, crossing Edwin/Kimberly to Murdock St, turn left onto Murdock
7. Follow Murdock to Hillside St, turn right (water stop on Murdock)
8. Hillside to N. Liberty, turn left.
9. Follow Liberty, crossing Chestnut St to Orange St, turn left
10. Follow Orange to Central Ave., turn right onto Central
11. Follow Central Ave down to Woodfin St, turn left on Woodfin
12. Follow Woodfin which changes name to Oak St. to the traffic circle
13. Turn right onto College St.
14. Finish is approximately .1 mile on the left at Pack Square Park
