Get ready to channel your inner 80's style at the Athens Academy Spartan 5K and Spartan Sprint on Saturday, 8th February 2025 in Athens, Oconee. Lace up your running shoes and join us for a fast-paced 5K race with a thrilling 1-mile downhill finish. Don't forget to sport your best 80's attire for a chance to win the costume contest and prizes! This year's theme is Top Run (Gun), so grab your aviators and bomber jackets for a totally rad experience. Handmade pottery awards by r.wood studio will be given out to top finishers. Be sure to check in by 9:30 am to be eligible for the costume contest and RFID Chip timing will be provided for accurate race results. Don't miss out on this exciting event to support Athens Academy and have a blast with fellow runners!

Please join us for an 80's themed 5K to support Athens Academy! This year's 80's theme is Top Run (Gun)! So bring your aviators and bomber jackets! Participants are encouraged to dress in 80's attire, although not required. If you would like to be considered for the costume contest and prizes, please check in at the T-shirt table by 9:30 am. All of those who want to considered for the costume contest, both the 5K and Sprint must be checked in by 9:30 am.
