Celebrating its 59th year, this iconic event is known as "Ohio's Longest Continuously Run Marathon." Runners will kick off the races at 8:00 AM from the corner of South College Street and East Union Street, embarking on a scenic journey along the fast and flat Hockhocking Adena Bikeway. Participants can choose between the Full Marathon, which is a Boston Qualifier Race, and the beloved Half Marathon, now in its 33rd year. Both courses are USATF certified and meticulously marked, finishing on the historic track at Pruitt Field at Ohio University. Join us in Athens for a day filled with excitement, camaraderie, and the thrill of crossing the finish line!

Join us at "Ohio's Longest Continuously Run Marathon" - 2026 will be the 59th year! Our Half marathon has run for 33 years. Start corner of South College Street and East Union Street on Sunday, April 19, 2026 at 8:00 AM. Both races will be on the scenic Hockhocking Adena Bikeway which is fast and flat, before finishing on Ohio University's track at Pruitt Field. Both courses are USATF certified and well-marked; the Full Marathon is a Boston Qualifier Race!
