The Badwax 500 offers an array of exciting competitions, including the Southside Power Hour, where skiers race to complete as many laps as possible in one hour, and the festive Pilcher Creek challenge, encouraging athletes to don fun costumes while skiing classic to Pilcher and back. With awards for the best overall skiers and opportunities for double kilometers through various fun activities, including group skiing and coaching, the Badwax 500 promises to be a memorable and rewarding season for all ski lovers! 500KM SKI CLUB

10TH ANNIVERSARY
BADWAX is a free ski club, where skiers enter their winter skis in a Google spreadsheet and try to accumulate 500km for the season. At the end of the season, skiers receive a free shirt based on the number of years they've completed the challenge. Here is the key for the shirt color you receive:
SHIRT KEY:
Mint - 1
Salmon - 2
Aqua - 3
Red - 4
Brown - 5
Green - 6
White - 7
Yellow - 8
Purple - 9
Teal - 10
BADWAX CHALLENGES:
SOUTHSIDE POWER HOUR - this is a season long competition, you can register a try at any time, there is a separate tab in the spreadsheet to record your result. You ski the Southside of Pattee Canyon loop and see how many laps you can do in an hour, you can start your last lap at 59:59.
PILCHER CREEK - during the period of 12/25 - 1/5, athletes classic to pilcher and back and record their best time, costumes encouraged. Must be on classic skis. Pilcher is in the Rattlesnake.
BEST ALL AROUND SKIER - this is a season long competition based on Rando Radness and Montana Nordic Cup. Finishes receive 25, 24, 23, ect. Best overall male, female, and juniors. Season awards also handed out at Follow Your Heart Skiathlon.
DOUBLE K OPPORTUNITIES - do these items and give yourself double km
* Any race with results on skis
* Towing a chariot or towie strap (dog, cat, human)
* Grill and Chill - must have 4 skiers attend, must have an open flame grill, must eat the food
* Coaching - parks and rec, Zany, Ice Badgers
* Party Bonus - Ski atleast 5km with 10+ skiers at once (can be randos, but must ski together)
