46th annual Baldy Hill Climb, hosted by the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation.
2024 Course will be return to the Warmspring Side of the mountain finishing back up on top near lookout.
All participants receive an event t-shirt, a refuel at the summit aid station, and a ride down on the chairlift. **In the event of poor air quality on race morning (above 100), the event will be cancelled. Final decision will be called by the race organizers by 8:00 a.m. race morning and notice will be posted here on svsef.org and emailed to registrants’ email addresses provided during registration at RunSignUp.com. AQI level will be sourced from airnow.gov.

SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 288:00 a.m. Packet Pick-Up outside River Run Lodge8:30 a.m. Kinderclimb—Free for kiddos under 11 years old. No pre-registration, please register in-person on event morning.9:00 a.m. Hike Class Start10:00 a.m. Race Class Start12 p.m. Estimated Awards Start Time at Finish – could be a little earlier, could be a little later, it’s all good!
Age class awards at summit for Race Class participants in Men's and Women's categories as well as overall.

Refund Policy: In the event of a cancellation of the Baldy Hill Climb due to unfavorable environmental conditions; there is no refund of the participant entry fee. The Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation incurs significant costs in advance of the race and as a non-profit cannot incur financial loss associated with the event. In the event of cancellation, participants registered for the 2024 event will be extended a reduced entry fee of $25.00 for the 2025 Baldy Hill Climb.
