Bart is joining us with the launch of his new book "100 Runs of a Lifetime," published by National Geographic. Whether you're a seasoned marathoner or just starting with a 5K, "100 Runs of a Lifetime" has something for everyoneand the stunning photographs are sure to inspire. From iconic World Marathon Majors like the Boston Marathon to hidden gems such as the Lewa Safari Marathon in Kenya, this guide takes you through some of the most incredible courses around the world. Bart Yasso retired after a 31 year career at Runner's World. He was Runner's World Chief Running Officer and the inventor of the Yasso 800's, a marathon-training schedule used by thousands of athletes around the world. He is one of the few people to have completed races on all seven continents, including the Antarctica and Mt. Kilimanjaro marathons. In 1987, Yasso won the U.S. National Duathlon Long Course Championship and the Smoky Mountain Marathon. He has also completed the Ironman five times and the grueling Badwater 146 mile run through Death Valley. He was inducted into the Running USA Hall of Champions and the Distance Running Hall of Fame.
